Description
Southeastern Pennsylvania includes counties like Berks, Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Lancaster, Lebanon, Lehigh, Montgomery, Northampton, and Philadelphia.
Lehigh County also has a thriving cultural scene, with stage theaters, art museums, and amusement park with world-class coasters and water slides, premier bicycle racing track, Class AAA minor league baseball, Lehigh Valley Zoo, historical sites, colleges and universities, and lots of arts and music festivals.
Lehigh County is part of the Delaware River watershed. Most of the county is drained by the Lehigh River and its tributaries, though the Schuylkill River also drains regions in the county’s south through Perkiomen Creek and in the county’s northwest through Maiden Creek.
